Katie the White Dog of Mrs. Panter
My beloved Katie was born on April 2nd 1991. Perfectly sound, healthy and beautiful. As an extremely concientious, first time, dog owner, I had Katie vaccinated every year on the dot. She was fine for a year or so, then these terrible pus filled lumps appeared on her eyelids, rather like styes. Her beautiful large, dark eyes were red, inflammed and almost closed. Katie's vet sent us to an eye specialist. He said that there was no hope for Katie's eyes. He prescribed steroids in various forms.
I took Katie home, but a inner voice told me not to proceed with the treatment. I was beside myself with worry about what to do for the best, when I came across an article in a dog magazine. It referred to a dog, akita I think, who'd lost all it's fur due to vaccinosis. The dog had been treated by Chrissie and cured. I got in touch with Chrissie. She asked for a fur sample and started treatment straight away. Chrissie felt that poor Katie was another victim of vaccinosis.
I followed Chrissie's instructions to the letter, within a very short time the condition cleared and never returned. I never vaccinated Katie again.
I returned to the eye specialist with Katie, he was thrilled at Katie's improvement. I let him examine her fully and listened to him tell me how wise I was to follow his instructions .
I then returned the steroid cream and tablets unopened. His whole mood changed. I was suddenly irresponsible and he was sure Katie's condition would return. Heated words were exchanged and that was that.
Another time I will never forget. Katie had had acupuncture for a bad knee, unfortunately the treatment was too strong and her knee dislocated. She was in such pain my Brother and I couldn't hold her down, Katie was a Bichon Frise. I phoned Chrissie distraught, Chrissie put her on treatment, within minutes Katie was calm, pain free and asleep.
I kept Katie on Chrissie's regime of minerals and other supplements all her life. She passed away peacefully, in my arms, on November 2nd 07. Katie was 16 years and 7 months exactly. Katie had had Cushings' for many years, She outlived every other dog diagnosed with the illness at the same time by at least 6 years.
My family and I are positive this was due to Chrissie.
